We’re sure the 400,000 people at Woodstock in 1969 had a ball; all that free love, awesome music and sliding around in the mud. And the six million people who visited the 1851 Great Exhibition in London will have marvelled at all kinds of wonders. Visitors to the first football world cup in Uruguay enjoyed witnessing history in 1930.
