Our History

Jade One was set up in Hong Kong as Jade Payments in December 2010 and quickly extended its reach to open additional offices in Dubai (June 2011) and Chennai, India (2013.)

In a few short years, Jade One’s dynamic approach to bespoke product innovation and deal making shook up the prepaid card market in the UAE and gained credibility globally. Its success has been based on exclusive sales and marketing arrangements with high profile brands that have outlets in heavy footfall locations.


Timeline of Success



  • A branding rights contract is agreed between Jade, Dubai Duty Free and Dubai Airport allowing for the marketing of the DXB prepaid card at the airport. Jade launched the Travelpak, containing a reloadable prepaid card and a prepaid SIM card. It was sold over 300 locations throughout Dubai international airport.


  • Partnerships agreed with Virgin Megastore, UAE Exchange and Al Fardan Exchange to be DXB connect reload agents. Cardholders benefits from an additional 200 reload outlets across the UAE as a result.


  • Jade develops proprietary reloadable and single load prepaid cards (Jade Pay and Jade Gift) and added a DXB branded single load gift card to its portfolio.
  • Secures additional distribution channels through Travelex to utlise its Dubai Airport, Abu Dhabi Airport, Sharjah Airport and downtown locations.
  • MasterCard sponsors a co-branded DXB / MasterCard kiosk in Dubai international airport selling and promoting DXB Connect prepaid cards.
  • Jade launches its proprietary closed loop contactless payments solution at the Dubai 7s VIP area.


  • Jade provides prepaid MasterCard branded Priceless Arabia for its Middle East prepaid conference. The card was a giveaway to attendees.


  • Invited by Noor bank to demonstrate NFC technology and payment process at a Thomas Reuters event
  • Jade creates a gift card program for Atlantis, The Palm, Dubai. It is an open-loop prepaid MasterCard with discounts and benefits to the cardholders. A sales location is created at Dubai International Airport.
  • Jade provides contactless payments solution to Avicii concert.


  • Jade signs contract with ENOC in the UAE, with 128 outlets, to be the reseller of Jade’s card product
  • Signs a prepaid gift card program with Marhaba services in the UAE. The single load card will be sold through Dnata travel outlet, Marhaba lounges across all Dubai airport terminals and through
  • Provides an RFID solution to RISE conference in HK.
  • Partners with Dubai 7s to provide a closed loop contactless payment solution to the biggest Rugby event in the Middle East.
